Private jet dogs.
Charter-A Ltd flies many passengers with their dogs on our private jet charter flights, no dogs go in the hold, and all dogs sit with their humans on our aircraft. Unlike commercial aircraft where dogs are put into crates and treated like luggage.
Where does a 55 Kilo dog sit on a plane?
Recently I was at Biggin Hill seeing some lovely passengers off to Malta on one of the Challenger 604 heavy jets. The passengers included a Rottweiler who was a beautiful and very friendly boy called Barney. All be it 55 kilos of Muscle. The captain of the jet met the passenger and Barney and gave them their flight brief. He then said to me quietly " he is so big where will he sit" I replied to our Captain "He is a Rottweiler, 55 kilos. I suggest you let him sit where he wants" :) You can see beautiful Barney in slide 4 above.
In all seriousness though we as a company are very dog friendly and ensure all the correct documents are organised for a flight so there is the least amount of stress when you fly with you furry friend for both the human passengers and more importantly the dogs.
Rules for pet travel on private jets.
There are various rules and procedures that need to be navigated when dogs are flown with passengers. For example, did you know that the size of your doggy impacts the type and size of aircraft you can use? Our expert team understand all these regulations and will present suitable private jet or air taxi options to suit your requirements.
