When it was delivered in late 2006, the Eclipse 500 became the first of a new class of very light jets. Two compact Pratt & Whitney Canada PW610F turbofan engines mounted in aft fuselage-mounted nacelles provide the aircraft’s propulsion. The Eclipse 500 features four leather club type chairs, LED lights, tables, and a variety of power outlets in its soundproofed interior.

One of the earliest charter planes without a restroom on board was the Eclipse 500.
