If You Like Your Wine

Although Sydney isn’t technically where all the magnificent New South Wales vineyards are, it is the closest city to Hunter Valley – the iconic home of some of the world’s most popular wines. The valley produces a variety of grapes including Shiraz, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Cabernet.

Of course, Sydney’s close proximity to the valley means that wine is cheap and there is an abundance of beautifully tasting beverages to compliment the fresh, exotic seafood and meats that are sold all over the city. If you like your wine, Sydney is a great city to visit. There are many different wine tasting excursions available to Hunter Valley, as well as the option to relax on rooftop and beachside bars with a glass of vino in your hand.

If You Love Food

There is nothing more delicious than authentic Italian food, and the best area to go for a full array of Italian flavours is Tuscany. Florence, the region’s capital, is known for its cured meats, rich olives and mouth watering tomatoes complemented by flavoursome olive oil and home grown basil. Take a stroll down the rustic winding roads and enjoy the overwhelming smell of freshly baked bread, matured cheese and smoked cuts of meat.

Your choice varies from pizza, pasta, salads and seafood, not to mention the wine and Mediterranean fruit and vegetables. There is no escaping food in this city, and you can enjoy it side by side with the music and art of the historic city. The views match the food as you can choose to dine on quiet balconies overlooking the green and yellow landscapes or enjoy the bustle of the cultured city and extravagant architecture.

If You Want the Beach

As the heart and soul of Hawaii, Honolulu is unique in that it combines the modern, built up aspects of a city with the most beautiful white sands and clear waters right on its doorstep. You needn’t walk two steps out of your hotel room before you reach the haven of Honolulu beach which is home to a variety of exotic sea creatures including sea turtles and dolphins.

Take a walk through the city centre where you will find classic American shops and restaurants as well as those that carry the Hawaiian culture. The hustle and bustle, nightlife and city centre buzz lasts all day and all night, however, when you need to retreat to the peace and quite, you can pick up your surf board and enjoy a relaxing session on the waves. The perfect place if you want a mix of the city and the sea.
